Lorna Robinson

I am the founder and lead companion/carer for Helping Hands. I have worked in the care sector for the past 40 years in both practical and managerial roles.

I also have many years’ experience of working with people with dementia and supporting their families. I started my business 8 years ago and have now decided to branch out with Helping Hands to offer our services to more clients. We are continually growing and now have a dedicated team of companion carers offering a 1:1 bespoke service to the people of West Dorset.

I am married with 2 children and 2 grandchildren I love spending time with my family and friends. I love travelling with my husband and enjoy learning about different cultures and traditions. I am a non-smoker, I have an enhanced DBS record, business car insurance and full public liability all to put your mind at ease.

We’re a Small, Trusted Team — And That’s How We Like It

Our team has over 25 years of combined experience supporting individuals and families with dignity, care, and warmth. We each bring our own personality, but we share one approach: showing up with heart.
